Whew... first week is over! I was stressed before and there are a few things that I'm still stressed over but it is so nice to meet everyone and begin to form a bond with the folks I will be learning and growing with.

If you are on a Windows machine, this is where the part of the instructions about opening the application Paint comes in. Open Paint, open the photo you want to use as your avatar in the Paint application, and under the tab "image size" (someone correct me if it has a different name! I'm on my Mac), resize the photo to no more than something like 120x120 (the exact number of pixels is in the instructions.) Save it, then upload it on your profile page, and voila! You'll have your photo. |
