The US educational system if officially non-religious; they approach education from a strictly empirical perspective, only objective knowledge is real. This reflects the culture of the US as a whole; it is based on the intellect and reason, and deprived of spirituality. When it does allow for religion, it usually offers only one widely accepted/appreciated option, Christianity, and though it may not be validated explicitly in schools, I feel that most people understand that it is accepted and in fact percieved as “normal.â€
