What does Rorty mean when he says, "So they must construct a metaphysics which has room for a special relation between beliefs and objects which will differentiate true from false beliefs?" Who is constructing the metaphysics? Also, what do they think metaphysics mean?

I have no idea - I'm still wondering what sort of "objects" were meant in all this reading! I thought I had a little bit of an understanding of philosophy, but I guess I am too rusty!
