According to a survey in 2000, about 30 percent of American adults were not merely portly but obese. Yet only 20 years ago 42 percent of the adult population was a healthy weight and only 15 percent were obese. Whom can we blame for an epidemic ? Certainly not the fast food restuarants chains that spend millions urging you to have super size drinks in cups the size of miniature size oil drums. Not the national tendency to regard the phrase "all you can eat" as a personal challenge rather than one option among many. Well as an after thought do I really have the right to point a finger ? I know how much chocolate I eat. Can we help the babies ??? Save our children; especially the porkers!!
