As I sat in a meeting this past week, the presenter read the children's book 'Crow Boy' to us. This is an excellent book to illustrate to students how discrimination works. The child couldn't speak english, hid under the school the first day of school. It took until the 5th or 6th grade for a teacher to understand this child and include him. By the end of the book, Crow Boy was accepted - it shouldn't take years in the same school for a child to be accepted. It shouldn't take any time at all. We are all equal in the Creator's eyes.
