If you haven't viewed this website yet, prepare yourself. It is very disturbing. I have to admit that I couldn't look at the whole presentation - I was too shaken but what I saw.

We know it existed, but having the photographs staring back at you makes it more realistic.

I had been reading what everyone was saying about the pictures, so I kind of dreaded looking at them. When I did I didn't finish viewing them either. I don't like graphic stuff. I did realize that it was there, but it is a different picture when you actually view the photos.

Your right it is very different realizing something happened and viewing actual photographs. Pictures present a different perspective. This must be why early elementary teachers are encouraged to use pictures whenever possible. Pictures give more meaning.

I have actually sat through it twice. My husband watched it with me and could not believe it. I sent it to my family up north and have not heard from them on it. My son saw some of it and could not believe what he saw. They don't show us this part of it in school. Maybe if they did more people would understand the anger and the horror that peolpe had to deal with.
