Okay, I have read all the post on the rebel flag issue and it makes me think of the recent gang incident. Have you guys heard or seen on the news or in your schools the issues with guys wearing pink? Supposedly it is supposed to be gang related. I know a high school in our county sent students home on Thursday for wearing pink to school. I think in a way this is commical and sad. what do you guys think? maybe this goes along with the school uniform post, if we had uniforms we wouldn't have these issues.

That's a new one for me. I haven't heard that yet. We don't have a problem at our school, maybe at Bandy's. I haven't heard a great deal about gangs though.

I'm really not familiar with gangs either. We don't have a problem with those in Lincoln Co. to my knowledge. It does sound as if this has gone too far. How do you tell a person not to wear a certain color? I could understand if the clothes worn had something on them that was offensive or threatening. Has anything else came of this?

Honestly I really haven't heard anything in several weeks about this. Our school is an elementary school so we really don't deal with gangs. I had seen this on the news and hear tale of kids at the high school being sent home. I guess they were just taking precautions, but I think they went too far.
