Has anyone heard what our raise will be next year if any at all. Who do we need to contact in Public Education or the NCAE? I also heard that masters salaries in a surrounding state has jumped for highly qualified teachers teaching in their field. Why can't ours?

I think we need a union. Yes, I am from NC but our benefits and salaries are ridiculous.

Lisa,
I have a payscale print out at school. I will try to remmeber to bring it to class Tues. But my scale does not account for any cost of living raise. I haven't heard anything about that raise. It sur ewould be nice to get a good one. Is it an election year??

Don't get your hopes up about a raise, but we'll probably go up one step on the payscale, if we are lucky. I think it is strange that we haven't heard anything about our pay for next year.
