The media center is important because it is a resource for everyone! The media center teaches and promotes technology and information literacy.

The media center has so much to offer. Without a media center it is difficult to find information that is up-to-date and accurate. Books, technology, and other resources may be scattered throughout a building or be nonexistent, without the foundation of a central location.
There is also so much to learn and understand that the average person cannot know. It is good to have a media center so the media specialists can also be found to helpfully assist.

The media center is important because it is a place to find many of the resources you may need for almost any kind of paper or project someone is having to do. It is a quiet place to read and get your thoughts together to do your work. Books are definitely something that I always loved about the media center. Books and technology are not the only resources available there, so in case you actually need a person to help you (like talking to a real person on the phone instead of a machine), there is always someone there that can hopefully point you in the right direction.

The media center is important because it provides various educational tools to both the students and the faculty and it provides teachers with help in implementing technology in the classroom.

The media center is important in so many ways. It provides students with even greater resources of learning and researching. It also helps teachers as well with betterment of their teaching resources.

The Media Center is a way for students to learn new ways to research and access tools they may not have at home. For a teacher it is a valuable tool to help teach students outside of the textbook.

The media center is important because it contains soooo many valuable resources for students and teachers alike, in the forms of technology and literacy aids. I feel that the media center is often overlooked as an important resource, and people forget that they have the use of it, but I think a media center is an invaluable resource to a school.

The media center is important because it gives everyone the opportunity to become technologically literate being able to use resources available to gain information for his or her benefit. Some students may not ever have the chance to learn how to use a computer or other technical devices but with a media center they can develop skills that can help them to further their education. A media center is very important because everyone who is looking for higher education will need to use it at one point or another.

The media center is important because it opens the classroom up into the outside world. Without a media center classes could not involve as much interactive learning, and would be much more dull.

The media center is there for a resource for knowledge and further learning beyond the classroom/ lecture. There are things in the media center that can open both the student and teacher mind to mounds of knowledge as well as methods of presenting it.

Just like everyone else has said, it provides services and resources that teachers and students can both use in order to be more successful. It helps to build knowledge of where to go and find information.

In my experience, the media center has been essential in helping me to succeed. In my grade school experience, I don't think that I could have gotten through a single paper or project without the resources that were made available to me through the media center. It provides services and resources that are necessary to help students and faculty members succeed in schools.

In my opinion the media center will never be out dated and will always be important. Sure computers are great resources and make finding things in the library simple but, computers will never be able to take the place of the media center staff. A knowledgeable media staff can be a great resource for any type of project or paper you may have to do. Computers and technology are greate but, can not take the place of personal experiences of the staff.

The media center I feel like serves as the information center for the school. Without a media center at a school it would be very difficult to access up to date and accurate information needed for student success. Also, I believe it is important to offer a quiet place for students to go to study, read, or just relax at school. No where else on school campuses offer such a place except the media center.

I think the media center is important because it is a place where teachers as well as students can get resources to do projects or research. As an elementary major, I believe that the media center is extremely important because it gives students a place to check out books so they can read and take comprehension tests to get prizes. As a teacher, the media center will be important because it will be a place where I can go and get materials on a certain unit that will be important for my class to read to better understand the unit.

The media center is important because it has an abundance of resources which can be used for every area of the curriculum. As an elementary student, the media center was one of my favorite places in the school. It was bright, lively, fun, and interactive. I love to read and our media center instilled that love in me. Our librarian acted out stories and got our young minds to think beyond just the text written in the book. The media center is an important place for kids to grow and desire to become life-long learners. As a teacher, I feel it will be an important place for me to obtain resources and possibly "team teach" with the librarian to create better lessons for my students.
