This semester I watched the movie "Schindler's List". I am a history major and aim to teach high school history so this movie was extremely insightful and informative. It is a very long and sometimes graphic movie but it portrays the Holocaust in a vivid and real way. It was an emotional movie and did not leave me with happy feelings, however, it was probably the most enlightening movie I have seen on the Holocaust. I think it is something everybody should watch in order to grasp the horrors and realities of such a historical tragedy. As a teacher it is definitely something I will be able to reference in my classroom.
