I had the opportunity to go to the Middle Grades Classroom Management seminar. Dr. Turner offered some wonderful insight into activities to use in a middle grades classroom. What I particularly loved about this seminar was that he used his many techniques on our group. I know that since I enjoyed the activities he offered, my students in a middle school classroom will LOVE to participate. Dr. Turner stressed creating a comfortable community in the classroom. This has always been something I hoped to place in my room and am very excited about enacting his techniques.
